Any Circuit can contain any one or two of the aforementioned categories with values ranging from -1 to +3. They are sorted into four categories: Reload(RLD), Rate of Fire(SPD), Damage(DMG), and Clip(CLP). Upgrade Circuits upgrade the performance of your weapons when installed.Special forms of Circuitry are unlocked once the required difficulty have been cleared, the required number of logs/artifacts collected, etc.Ĭircuits factors into the player's completion grade of the game, though ones that are crafted, unlocked, retrieved by Scavenger Bots or spawns in a previously opened storage chest does not count. With the right amount of resources, Circuits can be crafted. Instead, any and all upgrades committed are based largely on the player's preference.Ĭircuits, unless found in storage crates or in the world, are stored in green wall lockers resembling those of Power Nodes. Because of the new upgrade system, Circuits effectively replace all Power Nodes and can no longer dictate a tool's specs like before. These are found scattered across the environment and, like the Power Nodes, they are uncommon. Don't know if it's only me or it happens to others too.Upgrade Circuits are special items found in Dead Space 3. frame with Damage Support and Flame Gaze (for me the acid bath takes away the knockback effect of the Force Gun so i don't use it. For those i use the Planet Cracker which with DMG upgrades fucks em up real fast.įor the FG/CLG i use the S.C.A.F. It can be used for everything except for Guardians and Regenerators (Though on my Classic playthrough i could fully dismember a Regenerator at close range with 2-3 FG shots at +12 DMG).

Used it on my Hardcore play and didn't regret it one bit. To make it you need a Plasma Core with default tip (or Conic Dispersal for MK parts) and a Tesla Core with Diffraction Torus.

Force Gun/Chain Lightning Gun is a combo i grew to love. Obligatory Rivet Chain Gun master weapon comment.
